Idaho’s Heritage Conference

Idaho’s Heritage Conference was created to engage statewide partners in Preservation, History, Museums, and Archaeology in a cross-discipline conference that would allow for collaboration, inspiration, and networking.  Whether you are an archaeologist, teacher, student, community leader, museum professional or volunteer, amateur preservationist, or simply a local history buff we invite you to attend.

4th BIENNIAL CONFERENCE RESCHEDULED TO SEPTEMBER 19 – 22, 2022

The 4th Biennial IDAHO’S HERITAGE CONFERENCE has been rescheduled to September 19 – 22, 2022.

The Heritage Partners and representatives from the city of Pocatello are pleased to announce the rescheduling of the fourth Biennial Idaho’s Heritage Conference to September 19-22, 2022. We look forward to the historic preservationists, anthropologists, archaeologists, museum and community representatives coming together.

After very successful conferences in Moscow in 2015, and Boise in 2013 and 2017, the Heritage Partners are looking to build on that success.

Leadership

Idaho’s heritage involves people, places, buildings and much more.  History and its preservation foster a sense of place and connect us all to the past in order to inspire, educate and provide perspectives for the future.  The Heritage Partners is a coalition of separate statewide organizations, with distinct and unique missions that have come together to complement each other’s efforts in a dynamic consortium.  We collaborate to ensure that Idaho’s heritage is protected for future generations.

Idaho’s Heritage Conference was organized by the Heritage Partners to bring statewide partners together in a cross discipline conference setting that would allow for collaboration, inspiration, and networking.  As the conference builds momentum towards a statewide heritage network of partners, the collaboration in planning and organization of the conference has also expanded.  Partner organizations from the regional area have joined in the collaboration and planning of this year’s Idaho’s Heritage Conference.
